Helen Compton is a talented biologist with experience working in a variety of ecosystems in the United States, Australia, and New Zealand. Her areas of specialty include special-status species surveys and biological monitoring. Helen’s field observations in northern California include California red-legged frog, San Francisco dusky-footed woodrat, Alameda whipsnake, California tiger salamander, and Swainson’s hawk. Helen’s experience also includes training science volunteers on wildlife survey techniques, and leading stewardship activities for environmental education programs.
