• MISSION VALLEY ROCK QUARRY COMPLIANCE SUPPORT

Mission Valley Rock, an aggregate quarry, is restoring and revegetating a retired quarry pit (“East Nursery Pit”) in accordance with the Conditions of Approval in their surface mining permit.

Sequoia is providing compliance support by documenting site conditions and advising the client on how to achieve the success criteria outlined in their Landscaping Plan. Sequoia conducted a fall 2018 survey to document baseline (post-planting) site conditions and authored a revegetation monitoring report for the client to submit to Alameda County. Sequoia will follow up with a spring 2019 site visit to formally assess success criteria.
