Sequoia conducted rare plant surveys to assess and map the presence of special-status species in support of the proposed Juniper Trail reroute project.
Surveys included a desktop review of existing literature and previous datasets from the survey area, multiple protocol floristic-level surveys timed during the periods of identifiable phrenology for potentially occurring special-status species, and a final report documenting survey results and recommendations.
Sequoia’s input on this project provided critical planning information for trail routing and reduced potential impacts to special status plant species and mitigation requirements for the project.
